Modernization processes

The sixth chapter of the exhibition named “Modernization Process” presents the development of economy, health services, schools and education, culture and women movements. All these processes allowed Belgrade to achieve a level of development characteristic for European capitals in the first half of 20^th century, despite its oriental inheritance.
